Cisco Systems has created a new downloadable application for the iPhone that allows users to view WebEx webcasts via their phones. As a person who creates a lot of webcasts, I think this is great. Marketers now have a broader audience for their communication.To download the app, click here.

What is a webcast?

Webcasts, also known as webinars, are short, live, online presentations (usually lasting an hour) directed at an audience for the purpose of education. The presentation is created in Powerpoint which attendees can access through a special URL. The presentation audio is heard by dialing in to a designated hotline.
