Every now and then, I run across a really great start-up. I learned about a company called CIRadar through a friend of mine.
CIRadar has a competitive intelligence solution that is very innovative in its approach. They acquire information about your competitors and place it into different modules titled: Alerts & News, Research, Marketing, and Sales. The company has bots that crawl the Internet, looking for useful information.
· Alerts & News: creates a list of all the newsworthy material involving your competitors on a daily basis. Such alerts include acquisitions, awards, new partners, new products, competitor resumes, etc.
· Research: lists the events your competitors will be attending, gives a company snapshot, and lists the company staff.
· Marketing: shows which whitepaper syndication services your competitors are using, what keywords they are bidding on, how you compare in SEO rankings, and website analytics.
· Sales: this area provides leads for you based on CIRadar searches.
